Entry Details

Registration is now open for the Grand to Grand Ultra 2012.

The entry fee is US$3200 per individual.

Should participants wish to register as a team, then each team member should note this on their application and provide the name of their team. Each team should consist of 3 team members. Please read the additional Rules Relating to Teams. 

You must first request by email that a spot is reserved for you under your nationality quota. Please email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with your full name and nationality.

Upon receiving confirmation of such reservation by the Organizers, you may then proceed with completing your online application. 

A deposit of $1000 is required to confirm your place. The balance of US$2,200 (or discounted balance if applicable – see below) is payable no later than 22nd May 2012. A surcharge of US$200 is payable in the event that the entry fee is not paid in full by 22nd May 2012.

What the Entry Fee includes:

GROUND TRANSPORTATION

• Friday, 21 Sept: coach transfer from Las Vegas McCarran International Airport to Kanab, Utah.

• Saturday, 22 Sept: coach and 4WD transfer from Kanab to first bivouac on rim of the Grand Canyon

• Saturday, 29 Sept: 4WD and coach transfer to Las Vegas

• Sunday, 30 Sept: complimentary airport shuttle from hotel to airport

OVERNIGHT ACCOMMODATIONS

For the evening(s) of:

• Friday, 21 Sept: hotel accommodation in Kanab, Utah

• Saturday, 22 Sept through Friday, 28 Sept: space in a 10-man tent at roving camp site

• Saturday, 29 Sept: hotel accommodation in Las Vegas

FOOD & BEVERAGE

• Friday, 21 September: dinner

• Saturday, 22 September: breakfast, lunch and dinner

• Water for the duration of the race

• Saturday, 29 September : bag lunch

• Saturday, 29 September: awards dinner at hotel in Las Vegas

Cancellation Policy

All participants will receive a refund of the total fees paid to date, less $500 admin fee, if a cancellation notice has been received by the Organizers by 22nd May 2012. No fees will be refunded if any cancellation notice is received after 22nd May 2012.

DISCOUNT SCHEDULE

*No discount can be combined with any other discount.

*In the event you enjoy a discount to the full fee, the deposit remains at US$1000 with the discounted balance falling due by 22nd May 2012.

Early Birds

30% discount off entry fee:

First 50 persons who sign up for the race before the deadline of the 29th February 2012.

15% discount off entry fee:

For the first 20 persons signing up for the race after 29th February 2012 and before the deadline of 31st March 2012.

Seniors

All persons over the age of 65 will receive a Discount of 10%.

Military/Vets

All current serving and ex military personnel will receive a discount of 10%.

Quotas

For the Grand to Grand Ultra 2012, the total number of participants will be limited to 180 and a quota is being imposed for each nationality as follows.
